A Palworld player spent two weeks building their “Palcity,” which has left other players “ashamed” of their builds.
Palworld is an open-world and monster-taming game by developer Pocketpair that allows much room for players’ creativity. Some players disregard building and only wish to have the essential structures in their base, while some take building to the next level.
Despite the limitations of the game’s building structures, this Reddit user could still create a whole city. According to them, this took two weeks in real-time. The player called it his “Palcity” and no mods were used to assist him with it.
Many players were amazed by the player’s dedication and the city’s construction. One player stated, “WTF bro. I admire you and enjoy this work.” The huge city build put other players to shame with their small huts, but were uplifted by others who stated that everyone starts somewhere.
A player in the comments shared that they weren’t even able to snap on the stairs right. This is a problem that many people face as the game is still under development. The building system in the game could be improved to prevent players from facing such issues.
Some Palworld players were reminded of Ba Sing Se, the capital of the Earth King, from the show Avatar: The Last Airbender.
There was also a reference to Attack on Titan, as the city reminded players of the walled city. This is further strengthened as the video used Attack on Titan’s season 4 opening song, “My War” by Shinsei Kamattechan.
Other players debated whether the original poster was telling the truth about having no mods. Some speculated they might have turned off the building decay to prevent the creation from disappearing, as it is outside the Palbox area.
Either way, the dedication and time the player put into gathering the resources and building this “Palcity” are commendable. If you don’t have enough time to build a city, you might also like a trick to rush through Palworld dungeons. Stay tuned for upcoming updates and patches for the game!
