Valorant has rolled out fixes for the skins affected by the wall-hack bug, relieving the temporary ban on some skin levels.
Valorant is a first-person shooter (FPS) developed and published by Riot Games, the same company behind League of Legends. Players select Agents with special abilities or technology that aid them on the battlefield, whether Unrated or Competitive.
In Valorant, players can showcase the smart use of their abilities and their precise gunplay to win rounds and the overall match. Various guns, such as rifles and SMGs, are available for them to use in any FPS game. The game consistently releases skins for these guns and melee for players to enjoy.
The new Mystbloom bundle was released the same day as Episode 8, Act 3, which everyone was excited about. However, new updates come with many bugs the developers might’ve missed. The new bundle and other skins provided an unfair advantage as it had the ‘wall-hack’ bug, prompting a response from the devs.
Valorant tweeted regarding the issue, “We are aware of a bug showing up in various skinlines that allows players to see the outline of the enemy team through walls. A hotfix for Mystbloom is being pushed out later today.”
They then listed the gun skins affected by the fix, “While we work on fixes for the other skinlines, some levels on the following skins will be disabled along with Mystbloom.” This included Magepunk 3, Imperium, and Primordium.
After a few hours of working on the fix, Valorant had announced that the issue had been fixed. They tweeted, “All fixes have been deployed and all skin levels are back on. You may resume your regularly scheduled fragging with style.”
Hopefully, there wouldn’t be any more bugs that other players could exploit to their advantage. For more Valorant news and guides, stay tuned here on Level Push!
