You have to kiss a few frogs to find your prince, and we took a trip down memory lane to revisit J.Lo's past relationships, marriages, and flings.

David Cruz

In 1984, Jennifer Lopez began her first real relationship with David Cruz. J.Lo knew Cruz already, as the pair both grew up in the same New York neighborhood, The Bronx. The pair started seeing each other when they were just 15. J.Lo and David Cruz had a long and loving relationship that lasted 10 years, but the childhood sweethearts broke up in 1994. Lopez' star had already started to rise in the early 90s, and she appeared as a backup dancer for New Kids On The Block.

He Knows Me Best

Not much is known about David Cruz' life and career these days. The pair split when J.Lo relocated to Los Angeles, and Cruz is said to have stayed in his home neighborhood of the Bronx. He continued to live a regular life, a world away from the fame and glamor that J.Lo was headed for. J.Lo and Cruz do keep in touch though, with J.Lo saying in 2004, "He's a friend and he probably knows me better than anyone else".

Chris Paciello

Between 1993 and 1994, Jennifer Lopez briefly dated Chris Paciello. Paciello comes from Brooklyn, New York and has been linked to many famous women over the years including Madonna, Naomi Campbell, and Sofia Vergara. J.Lo wasn't serious with Paciello, and that was probably for the best, as not long after their flirtation fizzled out he was implicated and charged with a federal crime as a getaway driver in a murder case. Paciello served 7 years behind bars for his part in the crime.

A Positive Future

Paciello has turned his back on his previously shady lifestyle and has most recently opened a new restaurant called Bianca in the Delano Hotel in South Beach, Miami. He told the press, "I regret the mistakes I made in the past. I am working hard to make a positive impact and to build a new life for myself in Miami. I am grateful to the many people here who have welcomed me back with open arms, and look forward to a positive future."
