Supercell’s newest mobile game is finally live worldwide! If you’re eager to dominate the world of Squad Busters, here are our tips to make the most out of your games.
The much-awaited addition to Supercell’s roster of blockbuster mobile games is finally here, as Squad Busters officially launched worldwide. We spent a few good hours glued to our phones upon its release, and we can say that it’s undeniably addictive to rake up gems and coins while trying to climb the leaderboards.
With that said, here are our tips for your first foray into the world of Squad Busters!
Spend most of your gold in chests
Your gold should be mainly dedicated to buying Chest Tickets. While saving up your hard-earned coins for Epic characters in your store is tempting, these units are awfully overpriced and wouldn’t be as rewarding as obtaining them through winning games!
Sure, you can still play a game of Squad Busters without a Chest Ticket – but what’s the fun of it without the rewards?

Some characters are better in hordes, some alone
A Barbarian is strongest in numbers rather than alone, while you’ll only need one Wizard for every team. At the start of your games, having your melee units (Barbarian, El Primo) outnumber your ranged units like Colt is often better.
Stay close to the Gem Mine at the last minute
Winning in Squad Busters is all about the gems – so staying close to its greatest source is your best shot at victory. While it can be quite scary to join the haywire of all enemies near the Gem Mine, it can also be your chance to eliminate all possible competitors in one go!
Make sure to have your strongest team before the one-minute mark, and then kill the Golems and high-reward enemies near the center once the Gem Mine opens.
Add some variety to your team
Unlike Clash of Clans, Squad Busters has no “Electro Dragon spam” strategy. Your team would be better off with a healthy variety of Tanks, Supports, Melees, and Ranged units. You wouldn’t want a team entirely of high-HP units with no damage, and a team of only ranged units wouldn’t last long, either.
It may be adorable to witness a horde of Hay Day Chickens swarming across the battlefield, but prepare to lose your win streak in return!
Win streak matters
Your Win Streak in Squad Busters is more than just a bragging right! Having successive wins also lets you claim a special reward chest the longer you go. So even if it means spending gold after a “slip up,” it would be worth it in the long run.
Collect as many Characters as possible in one world
It’s tempting to progress into another world the sooner you unlock it, but make sure to make the most out of the previous world before doing so.
Try to gather as many characters as possible in each world before proceeding to the next. This will also ensure that your team is prepared for the challenges coming your way!
