Honkai: Star Rail brings a new Penacony boss who may sabotage the Charmony Festival.
Honkai: Star Rail, developed by miHoYo and published globally by HoYoverse, is a turn-based strategic role-playing gacha game released on April 26, 2023. Players travel through space on the Astral Express and help out people on different planets.
The world of Honkai: Star Rail keeps getting livelier with every update, with new characters, light cones, events, and more. Version 2.2, coming this May 8, will continue the main story and into the Charmony Festival.
Besides the festivities, the Harmonious Choir, The Great Septimus, will also perform at the Charmony Festival. This will be the new Penacony boss who may wreak havoc at the event, and it’s up to the Trailblazers to keep them at bay.
The 2.2 livestream shared some insights regarding the attacks that the Great Septimus will inflict on players. It was revealed that the boss would have three phases, with the battle getting harder with each phase.
During the first phase, the boss would charge and unleash “Semichorus,” allowing itself and its summons to inflict damage on a single ally. This is the easier part of the battle, and the blows wouldn’t be that devastating.
In the second phase, the boss will charge up and unleash “Chorus,” which would damage all allies. Its active summons would also cause extra damage to everyone at the party. If that wasn’t enough, the Great Septimus also casts a shield on itself, reducing damage taken and amplifying the damage it deals with.
The third and final phase allows the Great Septimus to become even stronger. It will unleash a defense-ignoring attack that deals massive damage to all allies.
After completing the Trailblaze Mission, this seemingly powerful boss will be available as the new Echo of War: Salutations of Ashen Dreams. This will contain Boothill’s advanced Trace level-up material, “Lost Echo of the Shared Wish.”
There are certainly many things to look forward to in Honkai: Star Rail version 2.2, which will be released on May 8, 2024. There will also be a new Stagnant Shadow that drops “IPC Work Permit” and Crimson Calyx that has the “Meteoric Bullet” Hunt Trace material.
