Honkai: Star Rail’s upcoming version update will make team setups more accessible as one of the many new quality of life features.
Honkai: Star Rail is a free-to-play turn-based role-playing gacha game (RPG) developed by miHoYo and published worldwide by HoYoverse. It was initially released in April 2023 and recently celebrated its one-year anniversary.
While Honkai: Star Rail is packed with main and sub-quests with rich storylines, its charm is also found in its combat system. Players can pull for characters in their respective banners, whether limited or standard, and then place them in teams.
In the Honkai: Star Rail 2.2 livestream “Then Wake to Weep” on April 26, an improved team setup system was unveiled with other quality-of-life updates.
With the new and improved team setup function, it would be easier for players to check the status of their characters. It would also be more convenient than scrolling through all the team setups. They can easily see the names or notes of each team, allowing for faster switching.
In addition, players can now ‘favorite’ their characters when browsing through the characters menu with the new tagging feature. When tagged, the character always appears at the top of the characters menu.
Players’ battle records and collections will also be shown on their Trailblazer profile page. This includes their progress in game modes such as Pure Fiction, the number of owned characters, and more. As previously announced on HoYoLAB, players will also be able to view their friends’ setups. However, players can turn these features on and off when they wish to do so.
These are all exciting changes, and perhaps many of the Honkai: Star Rail players would appreciate the improved team setup system as it would be easier to find the one they’re looking for.
