Ready to dominate the Arena or conquer new chapters in the story mode? Here are a few tips for making your cookies stronger in Cookie Run: Kingdom!
There are many ways to power up your Cookies in Cookie Run: Kingdom. While some Cookies are undoubtedly made better than others, there are still some ways to strengthen your epic-level units to be ready for battle.
From leveling them up to having the right stats in the Beascuits, here are the ways to have stronger cookies in your CRK Kingdom!
Level them up using Star Jellies
Before trying any other way of powering up your Cookies, you should level them up as much as possible. I suggest prioritizing the leveling up of rarer cookies (Ancient – Super Epic), as they would be more viable the more you play CRK.
You’ll gain Star Jellies from Cookie Mansions (Cookie Houses), Story Mode gameplay, monthly events, Fountain of Abundance, and many more sources from the game. Some events also occasionally drop a Star Jelly Concentrate that allows players to instantly level up their Cookie to a certain level.
Aside from using Star Jellies, you can also “level up” the power of your Cookies in the Hall of Ancient Heroes. Your Disciple Cookie will follow the level of the Paragon Cookies in the hall, so I suggest fully leveling up only five Cookies to Level 80.
Upgrade the skill level
The skill level can only be upgraded to one that matches the Cookie’s current level. Skill powders are available through Daily Bounties, events, and rewards.
I suggest prioritizing the skill levels of the Cookies in your Arena and Story Mode team instead of spending your skill powders on all of your current Cookies.
Use the best available Toppings
Like Cookies, the toppings are not made equal in Cookie Run: Kingdom. Common-type toppings could only be upgraded to level 6, Rare-type to level 9, and Epic to level 12. Avoid using topping pieces on Common toppings.
Aside from topping rarity, some Cookies also have specialized Resonant Toppings that grant them an extra boost to their power and abilities. An example would be Moonlight Cookie’s resonant Moonlight Toppings, also used by Stardust Cookie and similar-themed cookies.
If you missed out on the events that reward these Resonant Toppings, fear not! You can access these event-special rewards in CRK’s Special Episodes game mode.
Level up their Magic Candy
Certain cookies have special abilities that are unlocked with Magic Candies. This item can significantly increase the power of your Cookies, with some even soaring up the meta rankings (just like Financier Cookie) due to the power the candies give.
My Squid Ink Cookie could be a great example of how overpowered Magic Candies are. Despite being an Epic-rarity cookie, the Squid Ink Cookie has a significantly higher power level than Ancient and Super-Epic cookies in my arsenal.
The Magic Candy can only be activated for Cookies with a True Level of 50 and above – meaning that their boosted level from the Hall of Ancient Heroes does not count. However, their skill and “power” level will still match the Paragons in the HoAH.
Magic Candies are made in the Magic Laboratory using raw materials and Purity Crystals.
Use high-level Beascuits
Beascuits are relatively new to CRK. This item is obtained through the new Story Mode continent, Beast Yeast.
Like the Skill Powders, Beascuits are equipped according to the Cookie class. The stats under each Beascuit are randomly generated and can be re-rolled using Beascuit Doughs.
Promote cookies using Soul Stones
If you’re a true Gacha gamer, you may be familiar with Genshin Impact’s “Constellation” mechanic. Soul Stones functions similarly to Genshin Impact’s Constellations – the more times you obtain a Cookie from the Gacha, the more powerful they’ll be.
However, spending your Diamonds or Cookie Cutters is not the only way to obtain Cookie Soul Stones. You may also purchase Soul Stones through the Arena Shop, Guild Medal Shop, Rainbow Shell Gallery, and through
Bond Buffs
Bond buffs are determined by Cookie Promotion of certain “buddy cookies.” So, while pulling a couple of Custard Cookie or Brave Cookie Soul Stones may not be as lucrative of a reward as it sounds, it also has perks and eventual benefits to your Kingdom’s Cookie power.
