Genshin Impact fan outraged after uncovering Nahida’s hidden skill feature after 2 years

A Genshin Impact player is furious after discovering one of Nahida’s skill features after two years.

Genshin Impact is an open-world action role-playing game developed by miHoYo and published in China by miHoYo and worldwide by HoYoverse. Players can explore the vast world and fight the enemies they encounter with basic attacks and the elemental skills of their characters.

It’s been almost four years since the game’s release in September 2020. There are already 79 playable characters in the game, including the Traveler and Aloy (a limited character). Even though it’s been a long time since release, players are still experiencing new things with their characters.

A player took to Reddit that they had just found out about Nahida’s skill feature after two years, expressing their anger that nobody had told them. Nahida was first released in November 2022 but recently had a rerun in the 4.4 version in January 2024.

When playing as Nahida in Genshin Impact, holding down and pointing her skill at enemies would mark them with flowers. While it’s great at dealing a lot of damage, that’s not all there is to it.

Holding down and pointing it at NPCs in places such as Sumeru would show a smiley face and allow the players to hear their internal thoughts. It could also be used to collect materials from the world by holding down the skill.

Another player pointed out that Nahida’s skill feature garnered much attention and posts regarding its cuteness when the character was first released. There was an abundance of posts as well during her first rerun.

Some players tried to pull for Nahida during her previous banner but could not acquire her. They were now filled with regret after seeing posts regarding Nahida’s hidden skill feature.

Many of the players have missed this feature in Genshin Impact, as many would often focus on the combat. It’s still unknown when Nahida will get another rerun, as hers is fairly recent. Make sure to save up a lot of Primogems if you’re waiting for her or another character!
