Chiori is a 5-star Geo Sword user released in version 4.5 of Genshin Impact. She has two swords, but only one would reflect the weapon you’re currently equipping. She can be a sub-DPS in most team compositions, especially in mono-Geo comps.
Best Chiori Weapons
Chiori is the newest 5-star Geo Sword character in the latest Genshin Impact update. Here are all the optimal weapon options for Chiori, including 5-star, 4-star, and 3-star swords as well as their sub-stats:

Best 5-Star Weapon
Uraku Misugiri
The best 5-star weapon you could equip Chiori with is her signature weapon, Uraku Misugiri. Her Normal Attack DMG and Elemental Skill DMG would be increased by a percentage (affected by refinement rank). When a nearby active character deals Geo DMG, her normal attack and elemental skill damage would increase by 100% for 15 seconds. Her DEF would also increase by a percentage.
Primordial Jade Cutter
A 5-star sword substitute for the Uraku Misugiri, if you have it, is the Primordial Jade Cutter. This would increase Chiori’s HP by a percentage and provide an ATK bonus based on her Max HP.
Best 4-Star Weapon
Cinnabar Spindle
Possibly the best 4-star weapon for Chiori is the Cinnabar Spindle, which increases her Elemental Skill DMG based on a percentage of her DEF. The effect would be triggered no more than once every 1.5s and cleared 0.1s after the Elemental Skill deals DMG.
Wolf-Fang
Another 4-star sword that Chiori can use is Wolf-Fang, which can be acquired through the Battle Pass. Her Elemental Skill and Burst DMG increased by a percentage. When her skill hits an enemy, the CRIT Rate % increases. The effects could last 10 seconds separately, having 4 max stacks, and triggered once every 0.1 seconds.
Festering Desire
When you really have no choice, Festering Desire can be used as well. The sword would increase Chiori’s Elemental Skill DMG and Elemental Skill CRIT Rate by a percentage.
3-Star Weapon choice
Harbinger of Dawn
Another solid option is the R5 Harbinger of Dawn when you don’t have any of the 4-star or 5-star weapons for Chiori. You’ll have to keep her HP above 90%, so this is optimal when you have healers in your team too. Try not to run Chiori HoD with a Furina as you’ll consistently lose HP.
Best Artifacts for Chiori
Husk of Opulent Dreams (4-piece)
Her best artifact set would be the 4-piece Husk of Opulent Dreams, which gives 30% DEF, one of the stats affecting her damage output. The set also has the Curiosity effect, which gains 1 stack on field after hitting an opponent with a Geo attack and triggers once per 0.3s. Chiori can also gain 1 stack every 3s when off-field. The Curiosity effect provides 6% DEF and a Geo DMG Bonus that stacks up to 4 times.
Golden Troupe (4-piece)
Another good artifact set would be the Golden Troupe 4-piece set, which increases Chiori’s Elemental Skill DMG by 45%. There would be an additional increase to her Elemental Skill DMG when off-field by 25%. This would be cleared 2 seconds after Chiori takes the field.
These would be the best artifacts to equip Chiori at the moment. The following would be the best main stats to get or grind for:

As for the sub-stats, anything that adds CRIT DMG/Rate, ATK, and DEF would be good for her. It all depends on the artifact that you get from your domain grinds.
Talent Priority for Chiori
As a sub-DPS and off-field DPS, it’s better to prioritize her Elemental Skill, “Fluttering Hasode,” than her Elemental Burst, “Hiyoku: Twin Blades.” It’s not advisable to level up her Normal Attack since you’d only use her skill and burst most of the time, but it’s ultimately up to you.
Best Constellations for Chiori
The constellations to aim for when you can are the following:
C1 – This constellation increases the AoE of Chiori’s Tamoto doll summoned by her Elemental Skill by 50%. This also would summon an additional Tamoto doll without needing another Geo construct like Zhongli’s active.
C2 – 10 seconds after using Chiori’s Elemental Burst, a simplified automaton doll called Kinu would be summoned next to the active character every 3 seconds. The doll would attack nearby enemies, dealing AoE Geo DMG equivalent to 170% of Tamoto’s DMG. This will be considered as Elemental Skill DMG. Kinu would leave the field after 1 attack or after 3 seconds.
C6 – After triggering a follow-up effect of her Passive “Tailor-Made,” Chiori’s own Fluttering Hasode’s cooldown is decreased by 12s. In addition, the DMG dealt by Chiori’s Normal Attacks is increased by 235% of her DEF.

Chiori’s great to run on a Mono-Geo team composition, but you can always choose to run Chiori with one other Geo character, then DPS characters such as Hu Tao or Raiden Shogun. Other than these compositions, you could have 4-star Geo characters such as Gorou, Noelle, Ningguang, and Yun Jin for a more f2p friendly mono-Geo composition.
