Monster Hunter Wilds is now in open beta test and players are encountering the “unable to connect” error. Here’s the reason why and some possible reasons and fixes.
Monster Hunter Wilds is the newest addition to the Monster Hunter franchise, developed and published by CAPCOM. The game will be officially released on February 28, 2025, for the PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC or Steam.
Players can pre-load Monster Hunter Wilds open beta through their chosen platforms and will be able to open the game. However, fans have noticed that after selecting a text and voice language, they would get the “Unable to connect R1187-00-0:3” error.
Here are the possible reasons when getting this error message in Monster Hunter Wilds.
PS5 Plus Beta Test Concluded
The PlayStation 5 (PS5) first experienced Monster Hunter Wilds with the PlayStation®Plus Exclusive Early Access Play from October 29 to October 31, 2024. After this period, the servers will be down again in preparation for the open beta for other platforms, including PS5.
Open Beta Test servers are not yet open
One of the main reasons you may be getting the “Unable to connect R1187-00-0:3” error is that the open beta servers are yet to be open. Players can pre-load through their chosen platforms by October 31, 2024, but cannot play yet.
The schedule for the open beta test is as follows:
Platforms | Date |
PS5, XBOX Series X/S, PC or Steam | November 1, 2024 (3:00AM GMT) – November 4, 2024 (2:59AM GMT) |
Players will have to wait until November 1, 2024 (3:00AM GMT) before they can officially start their Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta experience.
I’m sure that everyone’s excited to experience Monster Hunter Wilds, especially the long-time fans of the franchise. Gamers will have to wait until later when the servers open to start their adventure.
