Brawl Stars is gearing up for a meta-changing Season 25 with new modifiers coming to Ranked Mode.
Brawl Stars has quickly become a staple for mobile gamers seeking fast-paced competitive play. In Season 24, the newly introduced Ranked Mode replaced Power League and raised the stakes for players seeking to climb the ranks from Bronze to Masters.
Now, attention turns to the new Ranked Mode season set to commence on April 4. Every season, the modifiers will change and this time players will need to adapt their strategies for and introduces modifiers that promise to revolutionize gameplay: Barbed Ammo, Sick Beats, and the returning Timed Detonation.
Brawl Stars Season 25 Modifiers
Sick Beats
All Brawlers are immune to stuns and slows.
Barbed Ammo
Damage now causes an additional damage over time effect on enemies!
Timed Detonation
Objects in the Map get progressively destroyed.
The introduction of these modifiers means the meta is due for a significant shift. For example, brawlers like Carl and Rosa can now maneuver without fear of being slowed down when the Sick Beats modifier is active.
Moreover, the Ranked Mode brings not just challenges but rewards. The Dynasty Dynamike skin from Season 24 is phased out, making way for Loki Chester, a new addition to the Ranked Starr Drops.
Also, note that your Ranked Battle Card Background from Season 24 will continue to be accessible throughout the upcoming season but will disappear afterward. These special backgrounds last just for an extra season, meaning that those earned in Season 25 will continue to Season 26 before being inaccessible. To assist players in reaching their previous rank, a Ranked Boost will be applied for players at the start of Season 25, as well.
The new season of Brawl Stars Ranked Mode is yet to begin, but once it does, we’ll be keeping a close eye on the meta to ensure our Brawler Tier List is as accurate and helpful as possible for players.
