As Season 24 in Brawl Stars quickly approaches, here’s everything you need to know about the new Hypercharge abilities that strengthen the brawlers with game-changing buffs!
Brawl Stars is a fast-paced multiplayer online battle arena and third-person shooter developed by Supercell. The game has different modes with their own objectives, such as scoring goals or being the last player standing.
There are also many characters, known as Brawlers, to choose from with their own unique abilities and playstyles. As it stands, some of the strongest Brawlers in our Brawl Stars tier list are the ones with powerful Hypercharges.
In this guide, we’ll look into the newest Hypercharge abilities coming to the game in Season 24. These abilities supercharge your character, allowing them to become more powerful.
All new Hypercharge abilities in Brawl Stars Season 24
Cordelius
Cordelius is one of the best Brawlers in the current meta, positioning himself as an S-tier character. His unique ability is to “shadow realm” his enemies, removing them from play temporarily.
Cordelius’ new Hypercharge, “Complete Darkness,” now slows enemies in the shadow realm with him. This guarantees that the Brawler can catch up to his enemies, allowing him to close the gaps quickly and deal a good amount of damage.
Buffs when Hypercharged:
- Super: Cordelius slows down his targets when sending them to the Shadow Realm.
- Speed: +24%
- Damage: +25%
- Shield: +5%
El Primo
El Primo went from B-tier to D-tier in the current Brawl Stars tier list as he lacked balance changes, which made him lag behind the current roster of Brawlers. Despite being tanky, he couldn’t keep up with the many versatile characters in the game.
His new Hypercharge, “Gravity Leap,” adds more value to El Primo! This allows him to cover a broader impact area and drag the enemies toward him instead of pushing them away. This makes it harder for his opponents to keep a safe distance from the Brawler.
Buffs when Hypercharged:
- Super: Leaping high, El Primo drops an Intergalactic Elbow that brings enemies to the Epicenter.
- Speed: +25%
- Damage: +5%
- Shield: +25%
Buzz
In the current meta before Season 24, Buzz went back and forth between the C and D-Tiers. This showed that he struggled to compete against a hypercharge-dominated battlefield. His ability to close gaps is amazing but falls short.
Now, the Brawler finally has the time to shine in the next season with his new Hypercharge “Buzzwatch!” He can now keep using his Super while he is hypercharged. This allows him to be a formidable force in the arena.
Buffs when Hypercharged:
- Super: Buzz can throw his torpedo multiple times in a row.
- Speed: +25%
- Damage: +15%
- Shield: +15%
Bibi
Bibi was once a notable Brawler, but she’s currently in F-tier due to the presence of hypercharged characters. She struggled to keep up with Brawl Stars’ arena, requiring versatility.
With her newest Hypercharge in Brawl Stars Season 24, “Out of bounds,” her Bubble Gum now splits into two when it successfully hits an opponent. This may help her close-range playstyle and ensure she’s always splitting the bouncing ball, allowing for more damage.
Buffs when Hypercharged:
- Super: Bibi’s bouncing ball splits when hitting an enemy.
- Speed: +24%
- Damage: +5%
- Shield: +25%
Sprout
Sprout is a C-tier Brawler in the current meta. He has a good chance on specific maps where he can control the pathways. New characters making their way into the roster make it difficult for him.
Sprout’s new Hypercharge ability, “Thorns,” makes his walls deal damage whenever enemies get too close to it. This would be best used when defending in game modes such as Brawl Ball.
Buffs when Hypercharged:
- Super: Sprout’s vine hedge now damages nearby enemies.
- Speed: +25%
- Damage: +25%
- Shield: +5%
Belle
Belle currently ranks as an A-tier Brawler in the Brawl Stars tier list. Having both range and damage. Belle is a versatile character and reliable in different situations. She is effective against many brawlers, and her long-range capabilities make her a safe pick.
Her newest Hypercharge ability, “Magnetic,” allows her shots to hone in on the enemies. This allows her to shoot her shots without much worry that she would miss.
Buffs when Hypercharged:
- Super: Belle’s spotting shot automatically follows the closest target.
- Speed: +26%
- Damage: +25%
- Shield: +5%
These are all the six new Hypercharge abilities coming in Season 24 of Brawl Stars. This may change the current meta of the roster of Brawlers, so stay tuned for more updates!
