Are you ready to make your Tick gameplay even more explosive? Our build guide covers everything you need to know about Tick’s Star Powers, Gadgets, and Gears so you can make the right choice before going into battle in Brawl Stars.
Updated on April 19: Tick’s found himself in a new position in our Brawl Stars tier list, so we figured it’s the right time to bounce back into our build guide and ensure it’s up-to-date. Tick’s best build focuses on maximizing his area control and survivability, and we’ve covered all bases!
Best Gadget for Tick
Last Hurrah is the go-to pick for Tick players and should be used in almost every case. This Gadget provides a handy shield that not only prevents damage but dishes it back to closeby enemies, as well. It’s a perfect way to punish those pesky assassins from diving on you.
On the other hand, Mine Mania can be good on the rare occasion. This gadget allows Tick to overwhelm enemies with a sudden burst of mines. When activated, Tick rapidly throws three mines in quick succession, creating an instant minefield that can catch enemies off guard or defend key areas. It’s perfect for controlling space, protecting objectives, or creating a barrier during retreats. But there’s no reason to take this into game when you could and should be aiming to maximize survivability with Last Hurrah.
Best Star Power for Tick
Well Oiled is a fantastic Star Power for Tick, which allows him to recover health more quickly when not taking damage, making him more resilient and able to stay in the fight longer. This star power is ideal for hit-and-run tactics, allowing Tick to recover between mine-laying barrages.
Alternatively, Automa-Tick Reload speeds up his reload time, enabling him to lay mines more frequently and maintain constant pressure on the battlefield. It’s a viable option and shouldn’t be ignored, but we recommend sticking to Well Oiled for the most part.
Best Gears for Tick
Shield Gear
Gain extra 900 health as a consumable shield. The shield regenerates in 10 seconds, when at full health.
When it comes to gears, Tick benefits from those that complement his playstyle of area denial and evasion. Shield Gear gives Tick extra survivability, again, helping him stay alive even longer.
Tick is one of the few Brawlers to have access to a special Mythic Gear, as well, as players should make the most of this. Thicc Head gives Tick’s Head an extra 1,000 health, helping it secure kills more often.
Mastering Tick in Brawl Stars means understanding and utilizing his best gadget, star power, and gears to their fullest potential.
With the right build, Tick becomes a formidable controller of space, capable of dictating the flow of battle with his strategic mine placement. So gear up, lay those mines, and watch as your Tick gameplay explodes with success!
