AFK Journey is set to expand its roster with two new heroes, Alsa and Soren.
Introduced as an Ethereal Fantasy RPG, AFK Journey invites players to explore Esperia, a mystical land where ancient gods once ruled. Players assume the role of the legendary mage Merlin, navigating through strategic battles and forming alliances with heroes from various factions.
The spotlight now shines on two new characters, Alsa and Soren, who are poised to join the roster of heroes from the Mauler faction, hailing from the harsh and unforgiving Ashen Wastes.
Alsa
Alsa, known as the “Desert Flare,” is the youthful and spirited chief of the Uru Clan within the Mauler faction. Despite her cheerful demeanor and natural leadership, a past incident hints at hidden depths and vulnerabilities. Her background as an orphan raised by the clan’s adoptive father contributes to her complex persona, making her a relatable and inspiring figure within the game’s lore.
As the leader among the children of her clan, Alsa is recognized for her optimistic outlook and a keen primitive intuition that endears her to her peers and players. Her ability to maintain cheerfulness and resolve even when faced with unsolvable problems adds depth to her character.
Soren
Soren, the “Silent Fury,” serves as the protector of the Uru Clan and a member of the Mauler faction from the Ashen Wastes. His role as the protective older brother is defined by his quiet strength and decisiveness. Abandoned by a prominent figure at a young age, Soren’s silent resilience and deep connection to his clan members make him a compelling addition to the game.
Despite his reluctance, Soren’s actions reveal a protective and cautious nature that speaks louder than words. His relationship with Alsa, who braids his hair as a sign of their deep bond, showcases his softer side and personal connections within the clan.
The addition of Alsa and Soren to the Mauler faction, originating from the Ashen Wastes, aims to captivate and challenge players and encourage them to delve into the new Song of Strife season.
