Here’s everything you need to know about the different banners in AFK Journey and their rates.

AFK Journey, developed by Farlight, is an Ethereal Fantasy RPG set in the magical world of Esperia. Players embody the legendary mage Merlin and navigate tactically charged, hex-based battles, forming bonds with heroes from six distinct factions. With a focus on strategic gameplay, AFK Journey offers a variety of banners that facilitate the recruitment of new heroes, each tailored to enhance your gaming experience.

Rate Up Recruitment Banner

This limited-time banner is specifically designed to introduce new characters or promote existing ones. It’s particularly enticing because if the rate-up hero is S-Level, pulling an S-Level hero guarantees you the featured character. For instance, in this banner above, the only S-level hero you’ll get is Florabelle.

Note that the highest tier of your other heroes influences the number of Rate Up heroes you can obtain. This system rewards players who have developed a strong and varied roster, as the more advanced your heroes are, the greater your chances of obtaining additional rate-up heroes during these events.

The banner operates with Rate Up Invite Letters, and if you’re short, you can use Diamonds instead. A single summon costs 300 Diamonds; importantly, there’s no discount for bulk pulls here. The pity rate is fixed at 40 pulls; this pity carries over to the next Rate Up hero. 

Rules for Rate Up Recruitment

1. Rate Up Recruitment is a limited-time event where you can use Rate Up Invite Letters to recruit. If you don’t have enough Invite Letters, you can spend Diamonds instead.
2. If the Rate Up hero is S-Level, recruiting an S-Level hero will guarantee you the Rate Up hero. If the Rate Up hero is A-Level, recruiting that hero will grant you eight times the Rate Up hero.
3. In Rate Up Recruitment, the number of Rate Up heroes you can obtain is determined by the highest tier of your other heroes.
4. After the Rate Up Recruitment ends, you can still select the corresponding Rate Up heroes in your Wish List. Rate Up Invite Letters can be used for all Rate Up Recruitment. At the end of this round of Rate Up Recruitment, your progress will be carried over to the next round.

• A-Level hero: 10% (A-Level heroes in the Hero Wish List)
• Omni Acorn x30: 1.5%
• Omni Acorn x4: 15%
• Omni Acorn x1: 70.05%

All-Hero Recruitment Banner

The All-Hero Recruitment Banner allows you to summon every non-Celestial/ Hypogean character. Use Diamonds or Invite Letters for recruitment; a single pull costs 300 Diamonds, but a bundle of 10 summons is discounted at 2700 Diamonds.

Upon completing 30 pulls, the Hero Wish List System activates, enabling you to favor two S-Level and two A-Level characters per faction. This customization helps target your ideal heroes for your team composition.

Rules for All-Hero Recruitment

1. Use Diamonds or Invite Letters to recruit heroes. Get a hero or Faction Acorns every recruitment. An A-level hero is guaranteed every ten recruits.
2. If you recruit a hero you already have on your roster; the hero will be converted into a corresponding Soul Sigil.
3. Faction Acorns consist of Lightbearer Acorns, Wilder Acorns, Mauler Acorns, and Graveborn Acorns and are used to ascend heroes of the respective factions.
4. Each time you recruit, you will receive 5 Dolly Tickets. You may exchange them for rewards in the Recruitment Store.

• S-Level hero: 2.05% (S-Level heroes in the Hero Wish List)
• A-Level hero: 22.5% (A-Level heroes in the Hero Wish List)
• Faction Acorn x30: 0.5%
• Faction Acorn x4: 15%
• Faction Acorn x1: 59.95%

Epic Recruitment Banner

This banner improves your chances of recruiting higher-quality heroes right from the start, with a wishlist feature available upon access. Recruitment requires special Epic Invite Letters, which can be acquired through gameplay. The banner’s pity rate starts at ten and caps at 30 pulls. 

Rules for Epic Recruitment

1. Choose up to 5 heroes in Epic Hero Recruitment and use Epic Invite Letters to recruit them. Heroes recruited in this way are guaranteed to be Epic. Each time you recruit, you will receive 10 Dolly Tickets. You may exchange them for rewards in the Recruitment Store.
2. Meanwhile, an A-level hero from your Wish List is guaranteed every 10 recruits.
3. If an A-level hero in the Wish List has also been included in the custom list, it’ll no longer be included in Wish List drops. This can be confirmed by checking hero probability details in the probability notice.
4. If a duplicate A-level Epic hero is recruited, all Soul Sigils required to upgrade this hero from Elite to Epic will be returned.
5. In this recruitment, you will obtain Omni-Acorns that can be used for the ascension of heroes from all Factions.

Rates

• S-Level hero: 5.22% (Five chosen heroes for the banner)
• A-Level hero: 18.75% (A-Level heroes in the Hero Wish List)
• Faction Acorn x30: 1%
• Faction Acorn x4: 25%
• Faction Acorn x1: 50.03%

Stargaze Station Banner

Stargaze Station is exclusive for summoning Celestial and Hypogean heroes, but unlocking it requires completing 400 pulls on other banners. Here, you can choose the hero you wish to recruit, with a 3.25% chance to secure a Celestial or Hypogean hero. You can get the hero you selected guaranteed at 40 pity. Note that this banner only accepts Stellar Crystals, a rare currency purchasable from Guild and Recruitment stores with a monthly limit.

Rules for Stargaze Station

1. In Stargaze Station, you can choose 1 Hypogean and Celestial hero and use Stellar Crystals to stargaze
2. After stargazing, you can earn rewards such as your selected heroes, Dazzling Stones, Ruins Stones, Omni-Acorns, and massive Diamonds.
3. Each stargaze session grants 15 Dolly Tickets.
