Ready to spice up your Clash of Clans gaming experience with brand-new scenery? Here’s our list of the best sceneries in CoC!
Gone are the days when all the villages in Clash of Clans look the same. Beyond base customization (which is more of a strategy), players now have the freedom to choose their hero skins and even overhaul their village with brand-new scenery!
While your scenery of choice will always depend on your taste, some sceneries are undoubtedly a cut above the others. Whether you prefer darker vibes or a more laid-back atmosphere, Supercell has something in store for you!
We’ve listed some of our favorite sceneries according to the overall appeal and how much new content and animation it brings!
Top 6 Home Village Sceneries in Clash of Clans
Goblin Caves
The Goblin Caves scenery stands out in a good way. This scenery feels like taking a trip to a fantasy movie akin to The Lord of The Rings or other magical worlds. In my opinion, this is one of the few sceneries that balances the dark and “war” atmosphere with a more scenic vibe overall.
This scenery also includes the “Goblin Pit” decoration, a re-skin on the Boat to Builder Base, and custom Airship and Forge.
Dragon Palace Scenery
Not the kind of gamer who likes dark and eerie sceneries? The majestic Dragon Palace could be the scenery that you’re looking for! This base takes inspiration from underwater coral reefs and water Dragons. While it may take a while for this scenery to be available again in the shop, it is surely worth snagging once it comes back!
Ghost Scenery
I’ve already said my fair share of applauding and complimenting to the Ghost skin line on our Hero skin rankings. This spooky scenery (and the overall Ghost pack) just takes the Clash of Clans experience up a notch! Even if you’re not a fan of eerie ambiance, I’m sure that you’ll like the unique artistic take on this Halloween special scenery.
Egypt Scenery
The most recent scenery on the list, the Egypt Scenery, took my breath away upon its release! This unique scenery is on the lighter side, which is a departure from the gloomier bases released earlier by Supercell. Aside from the “completeness” of the Egyptian inspirations, this scenery also features a custom boat, forge, and one of the most eye-catching airships in the game!
Chess Scenery
If you’ve ever played It Takes Two, this scenery may seem familiar. The Chess Scenery reminds me of the mini-game where the couple plays a life-sized chess board. Beyond its unique theme, this is one of the more underrated sceneries in the game.
In my months of multiplayer attacks in the Titan and Champion League, I can barely recall the times I’ve seen players use this scenery. So, if you’re looking for a scenery that stands out and is more obscure, this one’s your pick.
Dark Ages Scenery
From a less popular scenery like Chess, we now go to one of the most well-loved sceneries in Clash of Clans. If you ever go to online forums or search for best sceneries in CoC, you’ll likely be recommended the Dark Ages Scenery – and it’s not hard to see why.
Many players prefer to maintain the look of the base ground to avoid too much noise, but the Dark Ages Scenery combines that classic look with an elevated artistic scenery. With that being said, if you’re looking for just one scenery that will surely satisfy all you want and need, this one’s your best pick!
