Genshin Impact’s latest 4.5 update has significantly improved the Wish History tracking feature, much to the delight of its player base.
Genshin Impact has captivated millions with its engaging elemental combat system, expansive anime-style open world, and intricate storyline. Since its release in 2020, the game has consistently evolved, introducing new characters, stories, and features through regular updates.
The 4.5 update introduces many new features to the game, such as events, banners, and weapons, but the highlight is the much-anticipated enhancement to the game’s wish history tracking system.
Hidden in the many lines of patch notes was a small update noting, “On the Wish > History page, the viewable wish record time range has been adjusted from 6 months to 1 year.”
Previously, players could only view their wish history from the past six months, making long-term tracking and strategy planning for character and weapon acquisitions somewhat cumbersome.
The enhancement has sparked lively discussions among the Genshin Impact community, with players sharing their reactions and insights across various platforms.
A player was thrilled with the update, exclaiming, “best thing about this patch.” This enthusiastic response underscores the significance of the extended wish history viewing time, now spanning a full year instead of just six months.
The update has been met with resounding approval, with players sharing their experiences tracking their’ lost 50/50s’. This newfound ability to retrospectively examine their pull history has been a source of great satisfaction.
One player, in a lighthearted manner, shared their amusement at being able to tally up a year’s worth of Qiqi pulls.
Further adding to the excitement, another player discovered that HoYoverse had retroactively restored “deleted” wish records, allowing players to view their entire wish history over the past year, including wishes previously thought to be lost.
Some community members expressed regret that this feature wasn’t available from the game’s launch, pondering their luck during the initial versions. Meanwhile, others appreciated the practical benefits, especially for those who save their in-game currency for months to pull for specific characters.
As Genshin Impact continues to evolve, this update represents another step forward in HoYoverse’s commitment to improving player experience and responsiveness to community feedback.
